The season will consist of teams playing three times. And a cup competition. With 31 game weekends available in the season, to only play twice would result in only 14 game weekends. Whilst playing three times does mean that some teams will get two home draws against a specific team - you do get equal number of home and away across the division. And we believe this is the best structure for the age group. Unfortunately we can't trust the weather for all the teams to finish at the same time, so an additional league at the end of the season would be too risky and unfair on those teams who have completed their season and are waiting for other to catch up.
